Nevada Copper Announces Exercise of Over-Allotment Option Resulting in Aggregate Gross Offering Proceeds of $108.5 Million

July 17, 2018 – Nevada Copper Corp. (TSX: NCU) (“Nevada Copper” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that, in connection with its recently completed public offering of common shares (the “Offering”), the Company has today issued an additional 20,771,021 common shares of the Company, at a price of $0.60 per common share, for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $12.5 million pursuant to the partial exercise of the over-allotment option granted to the underwriters of the Offering (the “Over-Allotment Option”). The sale of the additional common shares pursuant to the Over-Allotment Option brings the aggregate gross proceeds from the Offering to approximately $108.5 million.
The Offering was underwritten by a syndicate of underwriters led by National Bank Financial Inc., BMO Capital Markets, RBC Capital Markets and Scotiabank acting as joint bookrunners, and including Numis Securities Limited, TD Securities Inc. and Haywood Securities Inc. Following the issuance of the additional shares pursuant to the exercise of the Over-Allotment Option, the Company now has 659,249,453 common shares issued and outstanding.
